About Us
We’re Nate & Lisa, partners in life, travel, and big dreams. Together, we’ve backpacked across continents, lived full-time in an RV, and most recently, spent years cruising full-time aboard our sailboat while raising and worldschooling our two kids as we go.
Through all of these adventures, we also built fulfilling careers, one a lifelong educator, the other a software executive. Proof that choosing freedom doesn’t mean giving up fulfilling careers. In fact, it’s what made this lifestyle possible.
To date, between the two of us we’ve explored 70+ countries across 6 continents – 23 countries by sailboat – and learned that freedom isn’t found in more stuff, but in more story.
We created Latitude Shift to help other couples and families break free from “someday” and start building a life they don’t need a vacation from.
